I’ve always wanted a good wooden salad bowl! I love the wood patters on this bowl and love that it comes with matching salad utensils. The bowl has a flat bottom which I prefer. This is a big bowl, which will be great for a making salads for a small dinner party!
…I won’t win any awards for my “still life” composition (allowance should be made, however, for my working-class origins).
“Acacia” was the magic buzz word that led me to immediately tell the Vine Program to “please send.” A couple of years back, I installed some acacia hardwood floors in the house, and I remained very impressed, still, how beautiful they are. Thus, ditto for this bowl.
I took the two pictures outside, with the evening light. The bowl is sitting on an Iranian tablecloth, which I think is still allowed.
Is $50 too expensive? It is that eternal question of priorities. What I hope to have is a salad bowl that will give me pleasure “for the duration,” for the price of a reasonable restaurant meal. Thus, I have no problems giving this very attractive bowl 5-stars.
